A heartfelt summer backyard wedding at Grandma’s farm, filled with vibrant colors, handmade details, and the kind of love that feels like home.
Set on the family farm at the bride's Grandma’s house, this backyard summer wedding (for my husband and I's college best friends!) was a beautiful blend of nostalgia, creativity, and joy. The ceremony took place beneath gorgeous willow trees that Grandma had planted long ago, their branches gently framing vows shared under the open summer sky. Hand-picked wildflowers and bold pops of color filled every corner, from hand-painted signs to DIY décor lovingly crafted by family, friends, and the bride and groom themselves. As the day unfolded, a perfect golden sunset washed the farm in warm light, setting the stage for an evening of laughter, barefoot moments, and dancing under the stars to the sounds of a live band. Long wooden tables, mismatched dishware, unique dresses, and personal touches made the celebration feel intimate and intentional—honoring not just a marriage, but generations of love, history, and home. And if you know Riley and Ginger, you'd know just how perfect this day was for them and how accurate a reflection of who they are it provided.
I had the high honor of standing alongside the couple as part of the wedding party, and during a few special moments of the day, two additional photographers assisted to ensure every memory was thoughtfully documented. All photos edited by me.
